Open, the new name in online estate agents, is pleased to announce our membership of the Property Ombudsman Scheme.
The Property Ombudsman is one of three government approved redress schemes and by dealing with a Member of the TPO, the public may be confident about the agent's approach in its dealings with actual and potential buyers and sellers of residential property in the UK.
The Property Ombudsman provides a free, fair and independent service for dealing with unresolved disputes between sales agents who have joined the TPO and consumers who are actual or potential buyers or sellers of residential property in the UK. The Ombudsman can award financial compensation of up to £25,000, giving consumers complete peace of mind when dealing with a member agent.
Jason Cohen-Harris, Director of Open commented:
"We are proud to demonstrate our commitment to professional standards by joining TPO, the leading Ombudsman service. This means that, in the unlikely event of a dispute that cannot be resolved directly with ourselves, our customers have a route of independent redress.
"We are sure that our TPO membership will give our clients confidence and peace of mind when dealing with us".
